Account & Data Deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of your Aerolot account and the data associated with it, what is deleted, what we are required to retain, and how long deletion takes. It applies to the Aerolot web platform and the Aerolot mobile app (Android and iOS).
1.How to request deletion
You can request deletion of your account and data in any of these ways:
- In the app — open Settings → Billing and choose Request Deletion (next to Export Everything). This is available in both the web admin and the mobile app.
- By email — send a request from your account email address to david@aiandwebservices.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” Include your dealership name and account email so we can verify ownership.
We verify that the request comes from the account owner before any data is deleted, to protect against unauthorized deletion.
2.What gets deleted
On a verified deletion request, we permanently remove:
- Your dealer account profile, login credentials, and user records
- Customer, lead, contact, and deal records processed on your behalf, including any photos and documents uploaded through the app
- Uploaded media stored on our servers (vehicle, inventory, and document images)
- Device push-notification tokens associated with your account
- Usage analytics linked to your account identifier
Biometric (Face ID / fingerprint) data is never collected or stored by Aerolot — it stays on your device under the operating system’s control — so there is nothing for us to delete on that front.
3.What we may retain (and why)
Some records are kept for a limited period after deletion where the law requires it or where we have a legitimate, overriding need:
- Financial & transaction records— F&I deal, billing, and tax records that must be retained to meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
- Fraud, security, and dispute records — the minimum needed to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.
- Backups — residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our standard backup rotation.
Retained records are access-restricted and deleted once the applicable retention period ends.
4.How long it takes
- Account access is disabled and deletion is scheduled within 30 days of a verified request. During this window you can still export your data and cancel the request.
- Data is permanently removed from active systems within 60 days, and from backups on the next backup rotation.
We recommend using Settings → Data & Privacy → Data Export (or Billing → Export Everything) to keep a copy of your records before requesting deletion.
